As a train mania, one place to enjoy Shinkansen moving in S-Curve is Hokutopia building in Oji station area, Tokyo.
This place is near to Ueno station side and of course I can observe only Shinkansen going to the north. Also on another side of the deck, Tokyo city view with Tokyo Skytree tower is there.
Series E5 Hayabusa is joining with Series E6 Komachi moving to Aomori and Akita respectively (splitted apart at Morioka station) . Series E7 Hokuriku is heading to Nagano and Kanazawa with 270km/hr speed.
At the observation deck, this S-Curve is really amazing and totally matched with the view point. The train manias will absolutely enjoy watching Shinkansen on this S-curve for that long 😀
