This festival is held annually on last Saturday and Sunday of August at Koenji Station, Tokyo that considered 1 in 3 biggest Tokyo festival. It’s the second biggest Odori in Japan as well (the first one is in Tokushima).

This festival is related to Obon that is about “Festival of the Dead”. Japanese come to celebrate their ancients by dancing. 🙂 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Awa_Dance_Festival)

I joined this festival on last Saturday people and a bunch of dancing groups look very beautiful, colorful and enjoyable 😀
