16 November 2013

It’s about 1 year and 1 month passed … then I come back here again in Kawaguchiko to meet my beloved Fujisan.

Autumn color here might be a bit late so I decide to travel around 5 lakes just to see this Japan symbol from the lakes it made long time ago.

First day arriving, go directly to Chureito pagoda and Oshino Hakkai to see Fujisan in different view and this time is great because shy mountain reveal itself to me clearly :D

Time left in the evening, Yamankako is a good choice as last destination for the first day. Shadow of Fujisan when the sunset is also amazing.

Early morning on the second day, my target is to see sun rise then the best place is Motosuko (Lake Motosu) where you can find the view point in 1000Yen note :)

Also traveling around 5 lake is interesting. Starting from Motosuko, Shojiko, Saiko, Kawaguchiko and end up at Yamanakako before going back to Tokyo for freshly working week coming. Feeling of seeing how Fujisan made this 5 lakes with nice weather come inside my body are releasing all of my stress. I recommend you all to try once or twice a year especially office guys in the city :D

These 2 days weather is really nice and I can clearly see my beloved mountain. What a very nice weekend :D

9 November 2013

Just another weekend and I should go some where. The destination is really unknown for me where is Semboku in Akita, Japan.

This trip is mainly for my desire that is riding on super trains, Super Komachi (Akita Shinkansen) and Hayabusa (Tohoku Shinkansen). These 2 trains are new shinkansen here in Japan and the big thing is they are very beautiful train :D

Starting with Super Komachi from Tokyo station, I decide to stop my destination at Semboku, the nearest city in Akita for Akita Shinkansen. This city actually has a lot of places to visit and 2 places I want to see where is Dakigaeri valley and Tazawa lake.

On the first day, I arrive and be ready to walk around at noon time so Dakigaeri is the first destination. Dakigaeri is a forest near by Kakunodate station and mostly people here are Japanese (I think I’m only Thai here). Autumn colors contrast with water color from the falls are very nice to see here and worth my few hours before sunset in the evening. That’s such a very good experience of my life :)

Dakigaeri valley is named from its terrain that the path is quite narrow then visitors need to holding each other while walking (Daki = to hold or to hug). Also Mikaeri waterfall inside Dakigaeri velley is named from its look that it’s so beautiful when you move your eyes out of the fall, you will need to look back to it. So sweet huh?

Second day again is the whole day raining in Semboku but at least I should go to see somewhere. Tazawako, the deepest lake in Japan is the place. Just one round circuit bus from Tazawako station, having lunch near by the lake, riding on boat trip to see surrounding lake then walk a bit further that is just my day. Raining can’t stop me for traveling. :D

Late afternoon, I come back to wait for the Super Komachi to Morioka to connect with Hayabusa there that is to complete my trip. At Tazawako station, there is a small exhibition about Korean series named IRIS. This series have been filmed in Akita so I realize that Akita is the most beautiful place in Japan or at least in every provinces I used to visit.

Autumn color and Cloudy color in this blog will remind me to come back here in Akita again :D

3 November 2013

Long weekend in Japan then I decided to go Nikko again after 3 years (last year my blog about Nikko got freshly pressed :) ).

Because it’s a long holiday and it seems to be the right time for Japanese people to go on vacation, traffic in Nikko was very high on Sunday and I had to take 4 hours from Tobu-Nikko station to Hotel near by Chuzenji lake :(

On the first day I have only a few hours before sunset to walk around the lake and also to the Kegon waterfall. Autumn colors here are always nice to see. My brain and my mind can be refreshed after long working day by just walking around this place with very beautiful scenery :D

Raining in the morning on the second day, I decide not to go for Akechidaira ropeway and also be afraid of traffic when I move back to the station. So, the world heritage is the target on this day.

Whole day sight seeing the world heritage is such a pretty day. Tosho-gu shrine and Rinno-ji temple are full of tourists as always.

I come back here again and I think it will not be the final round. Nikko is one of the most beautiful place in Japan. Who need to visit Nikko only once? Not me :D

19 October 2013

Early morning heading to Katsuta station where located in Ibaraki, Japan which my destination is to see Kokia in red color. The very big place that the big bunch of a little bush have been planted is called Hitachi Kaihin park. It can be reached by 20 minute bus from the station.

Kokia in summer is green colour then when the autumn come, it changes to red colour and dries in brown during winter time. It may not be that much interesting if the Kokia is alone in the pot but when it gathering together in the garden, Kokia is very beautiful especially in red :)

Actually I was almost a bit late because the time I visited this park, Kokia was not in fully red anymore. It was a bit dry on top already (luckily time is still waiting for me :) )

Autumn already comes to in Japan and I’m also ready for my next destination here. :D
